No one has done studies looking at low dose continuous use of nandrolone plus testosterone replacement in men with HIV to see if muscle mass, quality of life, frailty, bone density and strength are maintained while aging with HIV. Some doctors prescribe 200 mg of nandrolone plus 200 mg of testosterone (cypionate or enanthate) every two weeks, or 100 mg of each weekly. I know many patients who have used this protocol for over 10 years without any side effects.
Androderm could be used as background therapy for nandrolone (nandrolone decreases testosterone blood levels. Healthy testosterone levels are required to maintain healthy sexual function). Just make sure that your total testosterone blood level is in the 500-800 ng/dl range by retesting after two months on the protocol. Your doctor is key in this process.
